In the view of transparency, below is an excerpt from an advisory email I sent this month:
Not much to report, data & experiments this month.
UPDATES 🎉
- Exported 2862 entries from B-Corp listing
- Created workflow and automated using 2 Upwork freelancers, scraped 325 emails
- Sent 141 emails, 89% open rate, 17% response rate
- 1 discovery call – no deal.
- Been A/B testing with email copy and CTA, still struggling to land on an optimal copy which leads to good conversion into discovery calls.
- Tested Duxsoup + LinkedIn Sales Navigator for automated profile viewing, minimal connection requests coming out of that – discontinued.
GRATITUDE WALL 🤝
- Paul Lopushinsky for leading the charge with running our Vancouver HR Roundtables.
- Wyle Baoween from HRx for supporting.
- Thanks Angus Burke from EP Health for sharing https://phantombuster.com, a tool for automating list building. Yet to dive into it because I’m still busy with the B-corp list but it can help with automating LinkedIn email scraping.
NEXT STEPS 👣
- Continue to A/B test on email copy until I get a good conversion to discovery calls. Now that I’ve automated list building, I can send out up to 50/emails per day with a click of a button.
