In the view of transparency, below is an excerpt from an advisory email I sent this month:
Here’s what I’ve been learning & busy with in the last 3 months:

Eastern vs. Western Cultural Differences in Business & Sales

AI Applications in Sales – and is it ethical to use them?

UPDATES 🎉
Selling Ethically: The C.A.R.E. Methodology
- Ads directing to lead magnets are yielding minimal results. The best list-building channel is still to run workshops/webinars.
- YouTube channel is starting to gain some traction with more content.
- Check out some of the videos to see HeyGen’s AI Avatars in action.
- Listed my 3 free courses on Udemy.
- 1,037 enrollments in the last 3 months (peak was in February), 837 minutes of content consumed, 83 active listeners.
- Average completion rate is only 3.54%. Only 91 actually started after enrollment and 21 completed 100%.
- Still on the fence on leveraging this channel, Udemy does not provide instructors with student emails and the massive enrollment vs. low completion suggests many bot accounts.
- Took on iilo Creative Alliance as a mentee through The Forum’s mentorship program.
- Supporting Psych2Go (12.6M YT subscribers) with sponsorship outreach.
Tech Yukon
Flew up to Whitehorse, not once, but twice, for the Yukon Government’s Funders Meet & Greet and our AI & Data Series.
Closing up fiscal 2024-2025, here are some highlights:
- 22 events hosted, including a Cybersecurity Series, a full-day IP Bootcamp, and an AI & Data Series. Check our blog for a summary of the events during our AI & Data Series
- Canada Digital Adoption Program (CDAP) has officially concluded. Over the past three years, this program has facilitated e-commerce enablement for small businesses across Yukon, including Carcross, Faro, Dawson City, Mayo, and Haines Junction. A total of 126 applications were processed, with 113 receiving e-commerce advisory services. Of these recipients, 91 were awarded micro-grants.
- AccelerateIP is entering its final year. This year we hosted 6 IP-related workshops, supported 3 Yukon companies through IP Mentorship and 4 through Funding.
Personal
- Geralt turned 3!
- Started a social committee and hosted our first building-wide social gathering for my apartment complex.
- Got back into skipping rope and started Rope Flow.
ASKS 🙏
- I’m really getting into Rope Flow!
- It’s a great low-impact exercise that’s good for shoulder, hip, and spine mobility.
- Boosts coordination, proprioception, and body awareness.
- Improves rotational strength and core engagement – key for racquet sports, golf, baseball, martial arts, etc.
- Is a ton of fun and is a form of meditative movement.
- And looks pretty badass.
- Anyone in the Greater Vancouver Area who practices or is interested in learning? I’ll be organizing meetups and practice sessions for this in the near future 🙂
- Join this Rope Flow Vancouver FB Group I’ve set up!
